Free School Housing

School provided housing is available to all students training at Mazzei Flying Service. Student housing consists of furnished two bedroom apartments with either one or two students per bedroom, or private one bedroom apartments. The apartment complex is nestled in the center of an 18-hole public golf course and conveniently located just to the north of the Fresno Air Terminal.

Housing is included at no additional charge to students prepaying a course of training. Included Housing consists of a shared bedroom in one of our a two bedroom two bath apartment. Or if you require more privacy, you can upgrade to a private bedroom for an additional $260.00 per month. Accommodations include full kitchen and dining facilities with separate living areas as well as swimming pools, barbecues, tennis courts, and sand volleyball. The price for a shared bedroom in a two bedroom apartment is $260 per month; a private bedroom is $520 per month for housing not included in our courses. Fully private one bedroom apartments are also available through a student direct lease with the apartment complex. If you prefer to arrange your own housing directly with Lake Ridge or elsewhere, MFS will issue a $260 per month course credit to those students eligible for school provided housing. All students are required to pay a $100 cleaning fee before occupying an apartment. The deposit is refunded upon vacating the apartment, less any damage to the living area or cleaning required. A minimum of two weeks advanced notice is required for placement in school housing.

Shopping centers, banks, supermarkets, restaurants, and movie theaters are all located within a short distance from the apartments. An allowance for gas and electric utilities is included in the price of housing. Any excess utility charges are billed prorata to each student in the apartment.

Students must furnish their own cooking and eating utensils, bed sheets, blankets, pillows, pillow cases, and towels. All of these house ware items are available for purchase from the school for a packaged price of $125. In addition, students must provide their own television, radio, and alarm clock if desired.
